Program of the Yacht Expedition "In Search of Treasures on the Islands of Greece"! :
1st day. Saturday |
Today we arrive on airships, we arrive on carts and stagecoaches, or simply in the old fashioned way - on horseback to the capital of Greece - Athens! We meet with the Captain in the port, load all the necessary things, provisions, equipment onto the yacht and go to sea! About 4 hours on the road and we are closer to sunset at our first stop, the tiny island of Moni, which is home to absolutely kind and peaceful deer, as well as dozens of peacocks! We are waiting for our first ship dinner in the silence of a paradise island.
|
2nd day. Sunday |
Of course, the whole morning and first half of the day will be devoted to swimming in the sea, walking around the island, feeding peacocks and just relaxing on our snow-white sailboat) After lunch, we go out to sea and keep our way to our first port, which is called Methana! Here, of course, we will replenish our water and rum supplies, charge our ship batteries and go to dinner at one of the restaurants with incredibly delicious seafood)
|
3rd day. Monday |
Early in the morning, our fisherman friend will bring us the freshest fish, squid and shrimp, which, of course, we will have lunch at the place of our next stop - Mandraki Bay on the island of Hydra! And it was on this island, according to ancient legend, that Henry Avery buried his Treasures! Perhaps this is where we will find a bottle with a map and a message ??
Evening, rest and then ... Oh miracle!!! Oh Gods!! What's in the water?? Bottle?? Map? Treasure?? We urgently need to go to sea and go to the bay indicated on the map! |
4th day. Tuesday |
Children will not let us sleep for a long time, because a real Adventure awaits them! We compare the map from the bottle with the modern map and go out to sea early in the morning. Here it is - the bay, here it is - a landmark, that's right, we are in place) We moor, load the search group onto the boat and go to the shore! And here is our luck! And here is our Treasure! Today we celebrate and relax in a quiet and wild bay, where there is no one, no people, no cars, no ships, and even no Internet)
|
5th day. Wednesday |
Lazy morning on our ship! But we need to resupply provisions and water, so it's time to go! We will go to the island of Spetses, one of the most beautiful islands in the Saronic Gulf. The whole island is covered with forest, fresh air gives strength) we will take ATVs, mopeds, bicycles and go for a walk around the island! We will have lunch in one of the restaurants with a beautiful view) |
6th day. Thursday |
Today we will spend at sea, en route to the islet of Poros, an islet rightfully famous for one of the most beautiful promenades in Greece. We will climb to the top of the island, photograph an incredible panorama and, of course, take a selfie at the huge flag of Greece. |
7th day. Friday |
Last day of our trip! Today, after lunch, we leave for Athens, rent our ship in the evening and go for a walk in the evening Athens, the most beautiful ancient city!
|
8th day. Saturday |

But in order to collect a flotilla and find the Treasure, we need money to rent Sailboats, equipment, treasure-hunting devices, provisions and other things, without which we can not cope. And the money is not small, but it will pay off a hundred times when we find the treasure!!!
For this amount, we plan rent a sailboat, a new sailboat, not the old troughs that Avery rode! We will also hire an experienced captain who knows all the corners of the Greek islands, with this money we will take with us a boatswain-animator for our children, who will spend all his time with them, which will enable the parents of our younger treasure hunters to relax and gain strength, because digging treasures is also not an easy task!
And some of the costs we will bear ourselves, namely: to get to Athens to the place of our flotilla (about 200 louis), a ship's cash desk for the purchase of provisions, drinks, payment of taxes in ports, as well as fuel, if needed (about 100 louis).
*1 louis = 1 Euro.
