A beautiful mountainous country with ancient traditions, vibrant festivals and ancient temples! The Kingdom of the Thunder Dragon is also known as Bhutan. The country opened its doors to tourists only 30 years ago. Sandwiched between the mountain ranges of the Himalayas, Bhutan was naturally isolated from the world. Thanks to isolation, Bhutan has well preserved its national flavor.
To visit Bhutan, a visa is required, as well as payment of mandatory tourist fees (for 2022 - $ 200 per person per day. The highest tourist tax in the world :)). In all our tours, the cost of issuing a visa and tourist tax are already included in the price of the tours. Please note that local guides in Bhutan only speak English. We can provide an English-speaking guide from Nepal or India for an additional fee, which includes the guide's travel, accommodation, meals and a work permit in Bhutan.
