Grand tour of Costa Rica

Day 1. San Jose Poas Volcano and La Paz Waterfalls Park

Early arrival. Meeting at the airport. Tour to Poas Volcano National Park and La Paz Waterfalls Park. Lunch at a restaurant in the park.
The volcano, whose crater diameter reaches 1.5 km, is considered one of the largest geysers in the world. The volcano periodically erupts columns of steam and gas from its bowels, however, the ascent to its crater is absolutely safe for tourists. Poas is surrounded by a tropical cloud forest, where centuries-old trees coexist with beautiful orchids and bromeliads. And the rare gunnere here got its name "poor man's umbrella" due to its huge leaves. The view of the main crater of the volcano, the picture of the lake located in its center with its turquoise water will make visiting this park an unforgettable event of your trip. Next, visit the waterfalls of La Paz, a butterfly farm and feeders, to which entire flocks of hummingbirds flock.

Day 2: Caribbean coast

Breakfast. 07:00 - Departure towards the Caribbean coast. On the way, a tour to the sloth nursery. Accommodation at Azania Bungalows hotel.

Day 3: Caribbean coast

Breakfast. Tour to the Cocoatrail park, where you will get acquainted with the process of growing cocoa and the production of chocolate. Walk along the paths of Cahuita National Park. Overnight at the same hotel.

Day 4: Caribbean coast

Breakfast. Free day. Possibility to sunbathe and swim.

Day 5: Sarapiki

Breakfast. 8:00 – Departure to the Sarapiki zone. Accommodation at the Hacienda SueñoAzul hotel. Horse riding tour to the waterfall where you can swim in the natural pool. Dinner.

Day 6: Arenal

Breakfast. Tubing tour - rafting on rubber cameras along a mountain river. Dinner. Transfer to the area of the Arenal volcano. Accommodation at the MontañadeFuego hotel, in a superior room with a view of the Arenal Volcano. Possibility to relax in the thermal springs on site.

Day 7: Arenal

Breakfast. 7:30 - Tour SkyTrek & SkyTram. Fly on suspended trams, and then on a cable car over the rainforest. An exciting, adrenaline-filled excursion gives you the opportunity to contemplate the mighty Arenal volcano and the lake of the same name from a bird's eye view.
After the end of the tour, return to the Hotel MontañadeFuego.

Day 8: Monteverde

Breakfast. Transfer – tour through Lake Arenal to the Monteverde Biological Reserve. Accommodation at the Heliconia Hotel in a junior suite. 17:30 - Start of the evening walking tour of the Monteverde Nature Reserve. You will be able to hear the sounds of the night forest and, with the help of a guide, see the nocturnal representatives of the fauna of this reserve.

Day 9: Tamarindo

Breakfast. 10:00 - Transfer to the Pacific coast, Tamarindo beach. Accommodation at the Tamarindo Diria hotel in the “poolside” room. Free time.

Day 10: Tamarindo

Breakfast. Free day. Possibility to purchase additional excursions: ATV ride, fishing in the Pacific Ocean, surfing lessons.

Day 11: Tamarindo

Breakfast. Free day. Possibility to purchase additional excursions: ATV ride, fishing in the Pacific Ocean, surfing lessons.

Day 12: San Jose

Breakfast. 12:00 - Transfer to San Jose. Accommodation at the Tryp Sabana hotel or similar according to the category. the airport.

Day 13: San Jose - Airport

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport, according to the international flight.
