Day 5. Obiya village - Anemoigi and Sumpaima villages - a cave in the village of Vosilimo

Breakfast in the hotel.
Let's go to the village of Obiya. This is one of the settlements of the Dani tribe, where the ancient way of life is preserved, and members of the tribe still wear koteki, grass clothes, and build traditional round houses (honai). An unusual performance awaits us here: a feast with the preparation of a festive dish from a pig, as well as warrior dances. You will witness the way of life in prehistoric times. In the past, any problem could lead to war between the tribes. In the dance, the men of the tribe show what wars between tribes looked like before. At the end of the war, the winners slaughter the pig and cook it in a special way on hot stones.
And that's not all, we are heading to the villages of Anemoigi and Sumpaima, where we will see a mummy (250 years old) in one of the oldest houses. And at the end of the program for today we have a natural cave in the village of Vosilimo.
Lunch on this day will be in a lunch box.
On our return we will spend the night at the hotel. Tomorrow is another busy day!
