A week in Mexico (6 DAYS / 5 NIGHTS) - all the most important things to see in Mexico for the first time

Day 1. Mexico City

Meeting at the Airport only by a Mexican driver. Transfer and accommodation in a 4* hotel (Astor or similar). Free evening to relax.

Day 2. Mexico City - Teotihuacan - Anthropological Museum. (140 km)

Sightseeing tour of Mexico City - one of the largest metropolitan areas. Elite neighborhoods and slums, skyscrapers built using modern technologies, and small mansions - all this creates a unique image of the city of contrasts - Mexico City.
You will go to Zocalo Square, which is an important historical center of the capital. The main monuments of history and architecture are concentrated here; The Cathedral, the National Palace with frescoes by Diego Riviera (on condition that the Palace is open to the public), etc..
Driving along one of the most beautiful streets of the city - Reform Avenue, you will find yourself in the Anthropological Museum, famous throughout the world for its exhibits, among which there are treasures of the Indians who inhabited Mesoamerica.
Then you will go to the mysterious Teotihuacan - the cult center of the ancient Indians, striking in its scale and grandeur of buildings, you will have the opportunity to climb the pyramids of the Sun and the Moon to enjoy the view of the city from above.

Day 4. Palenque - Gulf of Mexico - Campeche (365 km).

The ruins of Palenque are considered one of the most important Maya archaeological sites in Mexico. The ancient city is located among the hills overgrown with high jungle, in the early morning the ruins are shrouded in thick fog, a small stream flows nearby, you can often hear the roar of a jaguar or a howler monkey.

After the tour, transfer to the city of Campeche. You will walk along the narrow colonial streets, see the real fortress walls that have withstood numerous pirate attacks.

Day 5. Campeche - Uxmal (160 km) - Merida (85 km).

The Palace of the Ruler, the House of the Turtles, the Pigeon Yard, the Convent - you will see all this here, in the unique Uxmal. Moving to Merida.

Day 6. Merida - Chichen Itza (130 km) - Cenote Ik-Kil - Cancun/Riviera Maya (220-280 km).

Breakfast. Departure to the center of the Yucatan Peninsula to see its main attraction - Chichen Itza. This ancient city is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Pyramid of Kukulkan, the Temple of Warriors, the world's largest ball court Pok-ta-Pok, the Temple of the Jaguars, the Observatory and other buildings of the city will appear before you and amaze with their grandeur.
