Group meeting at the airport in Paris. Charter flight from Paris to Longyearbyen — the administrative center of Spitsbergen. Transfer to the port.
16:00–17:00 boarding the ship.
18:00 departure towards the realization of a dream.
Longyearbyen is the capital of the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard, located on its main island, and is the northernmost territorial capital on the planet. In winter, temperatures here can drop below –40°C, and the landscapes of this former mining town are truly breathtaking. Glaciers, vast mountain ranges, and pristine nature create the feeling of being in a completely unexplored land.

Spitsbergen is the last stretch of land before the Arctic ice fields. Aboard the ship, we sail along the extraordinarily scenic coastline of this icy land. Between millennia old glaciers and rugged mountains, a dramatic shoreline carved by fjords unfolds before us.

An absolutely unique experience awaits us. Just you and the journey into the heart of the pristine, boundless expanse of snow white ice.
The landscapes are constantly changing — from smooth, flat plains to chaotic accumulations of ice floes. The ship will navigate through natural passages and areas where the ice cover is at its thinnest. These will be truly magical maritime moments among the drifting ice.

Defined by latitude 90° N, the Geographic North Pole lies on the Earth’s axis of rotation, at the point where all meridians converge. For six months of the year it is immersed in complete darkness, followed by six months of continuous sunlight.
This legendary place, permanently covered in ice and remote from any land, has been reached — and today, you are here.

Despite the fact that the main goal of the expedition has already been achieved, the most exciting experiences are still ahead. Our icebreaker continues its journey through towering ice formations and vast frozen expanses.
Members of the expedition team will share fascinating stories about Arctic wildlife, its historical past, and the geological features of this remote region.

We arrive at the world’s northernmost settlement — the former mining town that later became a scientific research station: Ny-Ålesund. This small settlement has served as a departure point for numerous Arctic expeditions, including those of the renowned explorer Roald Amundsen.

A kingdom of contrasts and natural wonders, scattered with islands and peninsulas — this is the northwestern region of Spitsbergen. The silence is broken only by the crackling whisper of shifting ice, carrying secrets and legends within.
In the distance, majestic whales glide silently, while seals, walruses, and Arctic foxes bring playfulness and life to these harsh lands. As Svalbard reindeer roam the vast expanses, Arctic terns adorn the sky with their graceful flight, and polar bears — which you may be lucky enough to spot — majestically patrol the ice covered coastline.

Our unforgettable journey comes to an end. We return to Longyearbyen, followed by a flight back to Paris.
North Pole — it was incredible!
We recommend booking an additional night in Paris after this flight.

All activities are conducted under the supervision of professional naturalist guides.
Ports of call, landing sites, excursions, and landings depend on weather conditions, ice distribution, wind strength, and sea state. Under such circumstances, the program may be modified at any time. The ship’s Captain and the Expedition Leader have the authority to cancel or suspend any activity at any moment, as well as to alter the itinerary. The final route is approved by the Captain, taking into account the touristic value of the sites and, above all, passenger safety.
