The Secret of the Caucasus — Karabakh

Arrival in Baku. Transfer to the hotel. In the evening, we set off for a walking tour of Baku. Following the excursion, a dinner accompanied by live music awaits us. Transfer back to the hotel and overnight stay in Baku.

After breakfast at the hotel, we embark on a truly extraordinary journey. Few tourists have witnessed this region. We are off to discover Karabakh! Today, our path winds through majestic mountains where history has endured pain, struggle, and rebirth. We will visit Shusha — the cradle of Azerbaijani national music and literature, as well as Khankendi and Lachin. We will also enjoy a tasting of the famous Karabakh honey. We will stop for lunch along the way and spend the evening at a hotel nestled among the mountains.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we head back toward Baku, but on our way, we will visit the city of Aghdam, which was completely destroyed. In its time, it was renowned for its legendary three-story teahouse and the unique Museum of Bread. Evening arrival in Baku.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, we journey to unique locations in search of vivid impressions and stunning photographs. Next stop — Mars! The "caramel" agate mountains await us. Next, we head for an excursion across the Absheron Peninsula, fitting for a country known as the "Land of Fire." A late lunch will be served in a national restaurant, including a masterclass on making "Qutabs" — traditional Azerbaijani thin flatbreads made from unleavened dough in a half-moon shape. The Ateshgah Fire Temple offers a glimpse into authentic Azerbaijani exoticism. We conclude our tour with a visit to the "Wine Museum" for a tasting of several local wines. Transfer to the hotel.
