Duration: 9 days / 8 nights

Arrival in Tbilisi, transfer and hotel accommodation.

16:30 — Walking sightseeing tour of the old city. We will walk through narrow streets, see the Narikala Fortress and the sulfur baths.

In the evening, we head for dinner at one of the iconic restaurants where the traditions of Georgia come alive.

Independent return to the hotel.

Breakfast and departure to the most secluded region of Georgia.

Ahead of us is the Abano Pass (2826 m). The road to Tusheti is among the most extreme and scenic roads in the world.

Arrival in Omalo — the center of the region, surrounded by alpine meadows.

Dinner and overnight stay in an authentic guesthouse in Omalo.

We are in for an immersion into the life of Tushetian highlanders.

Walk to the famous Keselo towers.

Trip to the villages of Shenako and Diklo. Shenako is renowned for its unique architecture, and a hike to the ruins of old Diklo will reveal views of the Greater Caucasus.

Today will be a day of captivating photo sessions and history.

Visit to Dartlo — an open-air village museum where ancient slate houses have been preserved.

Exploration of the settlements of Kvavlo, Chesho, and Parsma. Here, time seems to have stopped several centuries ago.

Breakfast and descent from the highlands.
Transfer back to Tbilisi. After the harsh mountains, the evening in the capital will feel especially cozy.

Today we have a change of scenery: we fly west.

Transfer to Natakhtari Airport and a scenic flight to Mestia on a small plane.

Immediately upon arrival — jeep tour to Ushguli (UNESCO site), the highest-altitude village in Europe.

Hiking to the foot of the Shkhara Glacier (5200 m).

Return to Mestia, visit to the Ethnographic Museum.

Today we have a full-day hike to the Koruldi Lakes (2850 m). This is a place where the sky touches the earth, and the great peak of Ushba is visible as if in the palm of your hand.

Breakfast and return to the origins.

Flight Mestia – Natakhtari.

Excursion to Mtskheta (the ancient capital). Visit to Jvari Monastery with a view of the confluence of the Kura and Aragvi rivers.

Cooking class and lunch: we learn to prepare Georgian dishes in a homely atmosphere, and we will also enjoy a tasting of Georgian wine from the host’s private cellars.
