We have created a unique itinerary covering the most iconic and stunning locations on the island. Stay in quality hotels and authentic Icelandic cottages with BBQ areas and hot tubs!
After this week, you’ll never be the same again!
Arrival in Reykjavík. Our guide will meet you and take you to the hotel. For those who want to dive into the Icelandic mood right away – a visit to the warm thermal baths in the city center is a great start.
“Iceland in miniature,” “Gateway to the Westfjords,” “Place of Power,” “Energy Pole of the Planet,” and, according to Jules Verne – “Center of the Earth.” How many names does Snæfellsnes Peninsula have?
We move on to the most photographed spot on the island and one of the top 10 most beautiful mountains in the world – Kirkjufell. Fans of the HBO series "Game of Thrones" will recognize it as the legendary “Arrowhead Mountain.”
We’ll walk around the Kirkjufellsfoss waterfalls and take an iconic photo.
Next stop – the basalt cliff of Lóndrangar.
Nearby is a “constellation” of charmingly neat fishing towns competing in the town square for the most unusual church!
Our plans also include a beautiful trail along the North Atlantic coast between two fishing villages – Arnarstapi and Hellnar.
After that, we head to the beach for a possible encounter with seals.
In the evening, we suggest relaxing in the Laugardalslaug thermal pools. Iceland is wonderful not only for its nature but also for its unique relaxation opportunities!
Today marks the beginning of our incredible adventure along one of the country’s most popular routes, known as the “Golden Circle.”
Our first stop is Þingvellir National Park, where two European tectonic plates meet, and nearby is the Viking Place of Power. A true Icelandic treasure, as this is the site of the first parliament.
Next on our route: the bubbling geyser valley of Haukadalur, home to the active Strokkur geyser, which erupts every 5–10 minutes, shooting steam and hot water 20–30 meters high.
We’ll enjoy tomato soup/dessert and/or tomato beer at a tomato farm (additional cost from €15 per person).
Then we head to the “golden” Gullfoss waterfall – one of the largest and most visited in Iceland. Once you see it, you’ll understand why people keep coming back.
We’ll also stop at a unique place where traditional Scandinavian bread is baked underground. We’ll witness the digging process and have a tasting. If we’re lucky, we’ll be given the family recipe, passed down through generations (entry + tasting – €18).
This evening will surely leave you with vivid emotions! We’ll spend it in a cottage in the heart of Icelandic nature, with authentic Icelandic barbecue and a hot tub (optional for tourists or overnight stay at a hotel).
This day will be another one of our adventures. We’ll head to the most romantic corner of the island on the Atlantic coast. On the way, we pet and feed fluffy Icelandic horses with carrots. We visit the Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls.
After taking in the impressions, we’ll reach the black sand beach of Reynisfjara, which has ranked among the most beautiful beaches in the world for many years. A magical place where time seems to stop! It’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again!
We’re sure that tonight everyone will be saying: “Iceland, how beautiful you are!”
Today will be an incredible day. We drive to the most beautiful canyon with a hard-to-pronounce name – Fjaðrárgljúfur!
The land here is over 200,000 years old and is wrapped in a legend about an important Troll, whose shape is reflected in one of the cliffs. We walk around the canyon along comfortable tourist trails with viewing platforms (30–50 min).
We continue to impress you. We go to the Glacier Lagoon, where hundreds of icebergs drift chaotically across the blue surface of the water, and to Diamond Beach.
On the way, we’ll have dinner in a real Viking restaurant! We’ll try on their armor and hear a couple of local legends.
We return to Reykjavík.
In the morning, we’ll take a walk around Reykjavík. We’ll visit the cathedral and the rainbow street. We’ll have a snack with the world’s tastiest hot dogs – according to Bill Clinton.
Then we go to one of the world’s best resorts – the Blue Lagoon (tickets must be booked and paid in advance). This is a geothermal spring with a unique mineral composition and absolutely cosmic landscapes you won’t see anywhere else in the world. A true Icelandic wonder of the world!
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we’d like to offer you some optional activities:
Whale safari – (from €120 per person) – a top trip!
Or visit another thermal wonder – Sky Lagoon (from €72 per person). It’s not as hyped as the Blue Lagoon, but in terms of beauty and location, it’s just as good (tickets must be booked and paid in advance)!
Breakfast at the hotel. A happy flight back home. Iceland, thank you! See you soon!
