An exciting expedition through the heart of South Sudan. Rich culture, authentic life of the local Mundari and Dinka peoples among savannas and rivers, traditional cuisine and scenic beauty of wild nature.
Arrival in Juba — the capital of South Sudan. Meeting at the airport, assistance with all formalities and transfer to the hotel. After check-in — a short rest.
In the second half of the day we set out to get to know the city: we will see the key places of Juba, feel the atmosphere of a young country and its rhythm of life.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast we leave the city and head towards the territories of the Mundari tribe. The road passes through savannas and rural areas, where the real South Sudan opens up.
Upon arrival — introduction to the Mundari camp, one of the most famous tribes of the region, which lives in close connection with its cattle. We observe everyday life: care of the cows, traditional customs and daily routine.
We meet the sunset among the herd — one of the most powerful moments of the journey.
Overnight in the camp.
Early wake-up to see how the camp comes to life: morning rituals, smoke from the fires, preparation of the cattle.
After breakfast we continue further — to the Dinka tribe. This is the largest ethnic group of the country with a rich culture and deep traditions.
Upon arrival — setting up the camp and meeting the local residents. The evening passes in a calm atmosphere, observing the life of the community.
Overnight in the camp.
This day is dedicated to full immersion into the life of the Dinka tribe. We will learn more about their traditions, social structure and the role of cattle in their culture.
We observe daily activities, interact with local residents and discover a unique world that has hardly changed over time.
Another overnight in the camp in the middle of wild nature.
After breakfast we begin the journey back to Juba. Upon arrival — transfer to the airport or hotel (depending on the flight).
End of the journey that opens one of the least explored corners of Africa.
