Fly from Dubai and land at Al Riyan Airport in Mukalla. Our team greets you on arrival and assists with formalities, then a private vehicle takes you to the Ramada for check-in. Depending on your landing time, have lunch at the hotel restaurant or try a nearby local eatery. After a short rest, head out to explore Mukalla’s historic quarter and old souq, with a stop at Khoor Mukalla. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at one of the city’s top restaurants.

After breakfast, we dive into local life at the Mukalla fish market, then tour the former Qu’aiti Sultanate palace. We pause by the city’s estuary before enjoying a fresh seafood lunch at a neighborhood restaurant. In the afternoon, we drive inland through Wadi Doa’n to Haid Al-Jazil. Our lodge sits opposite the cliff-top village balanced on a massive rock—perfect for sunset views. We unwind with fragrant Yemeni coffee, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, descend from the plateau on a scenic footpath toward Hawfah village (about 1 hour). Pause there for Yemeni coffee and a warm taste of local hospitality. Continue to explore Hawfah and the colorful Buqshan palaces on the left side of the valley. Cross to the right bank of Wadi Doa’n to visit the photogenic villages of Rehab and Qarn Majed, both offering superb viewpoints. Then hike up to Budha village for a sweeping, cinematic panorama. We’ll have lunch at a comfortable local restaurant and continue to Rebat, known as the ancestral village of the Bin Laden family, where we view their large mansion and discuss the family’s history in Yemen and later migration to Saudi Arabia. By late afternoon, return to Haid Al-Jazil resort to rest until dinner.

After breakfast, we head toward the Wadi Doa’n junction and turn off to visit the village of Seef. We continue to Al-Hajjrain—often called the “hidden Shibam” for its striking mud-brick skyline. By late afternoon we reach the Shibam Hadramout viewpoint to watch and photograph the sunset over the famous tower-houses. Afterwards, we drive to Say’un for a stroll through the local market. Evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we set out for Shibam to delve deeper into its maze-like lanes and visit the local museum for a window into traditional Shibami life. We’ll browse small antique shops for distinctive keepsakes. After our exploration, we return to Seiyun for lunch and a look around the qat market. In the afternoon, we continue to Al-Falas Fort, exploring its grounds and staying for sunset viewpoints over the fort. In the evening, we enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and head back to the hotel to rest.

After an early breakfast, we drive about 1.5 hours to the revered Shrine of Prophet Hud, a serene spiritual stop set amid desert ridges. We then enjoy a traditional Yemeni lunch at a local spot—seated on floor cushions for an authentic experience. Continuing to Tarim, renowned for its scholarship and elegant architecture, we pause at the giant lime kilns where limestone is fired into plaster that protects local homes. In Tarim, we explore the old village of Einat with its seven domes honoring Sufi imams, and visit the shrine of Imam Ahmed Al-Habshi, a respected scholar. By evening, we return to Seiyun for dinner and rest.

After breakfast, we delve further into Tarim’s highlights: the stately Al-Hadad Mosque and the famed Al-Muhdar Mosque, home to the world’s tallest mud-brick minaret. A stroll through Tarim’s lively markets puts us in the rhythm of daily life before we step into history at Ishah Palace and the pre-Islamic Al-Ranad Palace. By mid-afternoon, we drive back to Mukalla for a relaxed evening ahead of your flight. Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Mukalla.

This morning we fly from Mukalla to Aden. After a smooth arrival, transfer to the Marriott for check-in. Once settled, we explore Crater—the historic heart of Aden—wandering its lively souk filled with spices, silver and traditional crafts, and visiting the centuries-old Tawila Tanks carved into the mountainside. As sunset colors the bay, enjoy a fresh seafood dinner at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel for the night.

After breakfast, we step into Aden’s past at the Historical Museum, set inside a former British-era bank. A short climb then brings us to Seera Castle on Sira Island overlooking Aden’s harbor—a fort with roots in the 11th–12th centuries and sweeping city-and-sea views. We continue to the lively fish market where the day’s catch is displayed and auctioned, then break for lunch at a local eatery. In the afternoon, we admire the landmark “Big Ben” clock tower and browse Aden Mall. The day ends with a traditional Yemeni dinner.

After breakfast, we transfer you to Aden Airport for your flight to Cairo, wrapping up an unforgettable journey across Yemen’s deserts, wadis, and historic cities. Safe travels and shukran!
