Tour program:

Thursday

 Arrival in Georgetown and transfer to the central hotel for the night.

Friday

 Morning sightseeing tour of this wonderful city. And the second half of the day you will have free, so that you can relax and acclimatize to the Guyanese pace of life.

Saturday

Transfer to Ogle airport for flight south to Lethem. Upon arrival, you will be met and driven to Caranambu Rancho, where you will arrive in the late morning. This ranch will be your home for the next three nights. It used to be a cattle farm. Rancho Karanambu is located in the northern zone of the Guyanese savanna Rupununi. This region is known for its biodiversity and unforgettable scenic landscapes. There are several villages near the ranch, and during your stay in Karanambu, you can get to know their locals better - incredibly determined and strong-willed people.

Sunday Monday

 You will have two whole days to properly enjoy the natural sights of Rupununi! A range of activities await you here. Firstly, a research center dedicated to the study of otters - these wild creatures are found here in fairly large numbers, as are caimans and giant anteaters! The flora of the region is very diverse, and the ranchers will tell you in detail about the features of the Rupununi ecosystem. You'll also have time for a leisurely boat ride to see majestic Amazonian lilies and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Karanambu! There are also optional excursions to the caimans or villages; they are available on an optional basis and for a small fee. Accommodation in double, private rooms. The lodge can have a maximum of twelve guests at a time.

Tuesday

 Departure late in the morning and arrival in Ogle in the afternoon. From there you will depart for Paramaribo at 13.30 and after your arrival in the Surinamese capital, you will be transferred to your hotel for the night.

Wednesday

Today you will have an excursion to Warappa Kreek and an old plantation in Bucky. This will be a great introduction to the north coast ecosystem and plantation history of Suriname. This day is going to be amazing!

Thursday

 Today you will have a tour of Paramaribo that will include a visit to Nieuwe Amsterdam and the chance to see the amazing wooden buildings of this unusual city that make it so charming! The day will end with an evening walk through Waterkant Park, where you can taste Indonesian cuisine!

Friday

 Today you will head south to the Upper Suriname River. Twenty-three communities live near the river, founded by the descendants of runaway slaves of the 17th and 18th centuries. At first glance, their way of life has changed little since those times. The road ends at the village of Atjoni and from here we will continue our canoe trip. And those who choose to spend the next three nights in the Jaw Jaw Saramakan community will be able to experience a completely different way of life. You will sleep in huts made entirely from materials found in the forest and experience the daily life of the community over the next two days. You will get an unforgettable experience! Everything around will be spotlessly clean, and the residents of the community will receive you with all the warmth, attention and joy! If you choose a jungle lodge in Upper Suriname, you will be driven to Pingpe where you will stay for 3 days. Crafted from the Amazon jungle itself, this delightful lodge offers simple yet comfortable accommodation and a variety of daily activities that will take you through the flora, fauna and culture of this fascinating place!

Monday

All good things come to an end and this morning you will be transferred to Atjoni and then to your hotel near Pengel International Airport. We are sure that this exciting tour program in Rupununi, Upper Suriname and the capitals of these two neighboring countries of the world will delight you and you will be fascinated by the beauty of their nature and the cultural traditions of their inhabitants!
