The beaches of the Antalya coast - sand, pebbles, slabs?

Turkey - a direction where, it seems, everything is already known: how to get to this or that resort, where it is more economical, and where - Deluxe, where to go for young people, and where with children. The most common question when choosing a tour: “What kind of beach is there?” Very often, tourists pay attention to the beach: someone loves pebbles, and someone loves sand. To make it easier for you to navigate, let's look at the beaches of Turkey

Alanya

AT Alanya predominantly volcanic type of coast, so there are natural stone slabs and large stones when entering the sea, although the beach itself is sandy.

The best and most popular beach in Alanya is called the beach Cleopatra, which is a continuation of Damlatas beach, stretching for 2 km of the coastal strip.

Mahmutlar the most remote village of Alanya. Local beaches are quite wide, sand mixed with pebbles. For safety, we recommend wearing beach shoes.

Village Konakli located near Alanya. The shore is dominated by sand with pebbles, in some places there are stone slabs and boulders, thanks to which the water near the shore is not so muddy. In Konakli, you can find areas with soft sand, if you wish, you can relax on wild beaches

AT Avsallar many small coves. There is almost never wind and high waves here, so this is the area itself. Clean sandy beaches with a gentle entry into the water and a rather narrow coastline are the distinguishing feature of Avsallar from other villages. Literally five meters from the shore, the depth begins, so we recommend that families with children or those who swim poorly, choose another area

Area Obogoy (Obakoy) adjacent to the city limits of Alanya, many hotels are located across the road from the beach. The beaches here are mostly rocky with boulders, so entering the sea is a little difficult. On the coastline, where there are no stone areas, recreation areas are organized with sand, which is mixed with small pebbles

Beaches Okurcalara located between Alanya and Side. Sand and pebble beaches have a convenient entrance with a gentle slope into the sea. There are a lot of colorful bays and coves here, due to the fact that the coastline is very indented. Okrucalar beach is quite convenient for families with small children. 

Incekum located next to Alanya. The coastal strip stretches for 8 kilometers and is one of the warmest places. Incekum Beach is covered with fairly fine and clean sand. Families with small children adore this place, because the descent into the sea is quite gentle.

Side

Sea. Unlike other resorts in Turkey, Side is almost always calm and there are no big waves near the coast. Due to the shallow, safe and clear sea water, Side has long been a popular holiday destination for parents with children and the elderly.

Beaches. On the west side of the green cape is the most visited beach of Side, and on the east there is a series of less crowded beaches. In addition, tourists like to spend time on the beaches of resort villages located away from the urban development of Side. Each of the beaches has its own advantages and characteristics.

 Sandy West Beach bends for several kilometers and is considered the shallowest in Side. There are sections on it where, a hundred meters from the shore, the depth does not exceed 40-50 cm. It is absolutely safe to swim here, so you can always see parents with children and those who cannot swim on the shore.

A strip of sandy beaches east from the green cape is less crowded. Beaches near EastThe beaches are also shallow, but deep places start much closer to the shore. The beach strip is covered with large bright yellow sand. The entrance to the sea is convenient, but in some places there are areas of finely rounded pebbles.

One of the best sandy beaches in Turkey is located 3 km from the center of Side. Kumkoy - a popular place for youth recreation.

For the sake of a beautiful sandy beach, many tourists go to the resort village Sorgun, (located just 2 km from the center of Side). This is a place with pine forests, palm trees growing along the coast, orange trees and flowering hibiscus

Sandy beach of the village Cholakly covered with fine golden sand. It is one of the cleanest and most comfortable in Turkey, so it is popular with tourists with small children.

,Closer to Alanya, there is a sandy beach popular with tourists Kyzylot. The resort is preferred by lovers of secluded relaxation.

beautiful sandy beach Kyzylagach  is located 15 km east of Side, in one of the most picturesque suburbs of the Turkish resort. At the peak of the summer season, many locals and tourists come to the coast, covered with fine white sand.

AT Manavgat there are sandy and pebble beaches. There are also rocky beaches with clear water, which attract diving fans.

Antalya :

Beach Adalar is considered to be one of the most beautiful local beaches. It is a continuation of the popular city park called Karaalioglu. The peculiarity of the Adalara beach is that it is built on small rocks, a kind of small islands, which are located not far from the coast. 

Lara is a favorite place for our tourists. Despite the fact that Lara is located on a rocky terrain, the coast is sandy with light, almost white sand. Perfect for holidays with small children. It is not located in the city itself, but at a distance of 12 kilometers from the center.

Konyaalti. There is no sand on the coast, and the pebbles are quite small. Many people like it, because they do not have to get grains of sand out of clothes, bags. The entrance to the water is quite sharp.  

Kemer:

Going to rest in one of the hotels Beldibi, especially with small children, it is necessary to take care of beach shoes and control the entry into the sea. On the beaches = Large pebbles

The coastline of the village Goynuk covered with rounded and rather comfortable pebbles. The entry into the sea is smooth for the first 10 m, which is suitable for small tourists. Then - sharply deep, so lovers of diving with a mask are a great option. The sea in Goynuk is especially transparent.

Central the beach is pebbly, like most of the beaches of Kemer. Moreover, the pebbles in these places are not boringly monophonic, but painted in different colors: beige, brown, light, emerald, striped, bright blue, grayish, which gives the coast a peculiar flavor. Some expensive hotels create artificial sandy areas by covering the pebbles with sand, but the entrance to the sea still remains sandy and pebbly. And due to the rocky shore, the water here is very clear.

Coast in the village Kirish strewn with small pebbles along with sand, it is quite long and wide,. The entry into the sea is gradual, so it is great for children.

Chamyuva - sand and pebble beaches. I would like to note that there are quite large stones here, but you quickly get used to them, especially if you have special shoes.

Beach quality Tekirova excellent, most hotels have their own strip on the public beach and cover it with sand. Thus, the coastal strip in Tekirov is sand and pebble, and not purely pebble, as in the center of Kemer
